Ericsson License Activation and Support application process - Ericsson Internal Users

Please follow below steps to raise ticket in IDM for application access.

  1. Ericsson internal user request access via IDM and log in to Ericsson License Activation & Support tool with ”single sign on” (SSO).

    • Applications -> Ericsson License Activation and Support -> Production -> Request for required role. Unless you have been instructed otherwise, you should most likely have the "Internal Requester" role.

    • Regular users will only need access to the Production environment. Requests for test sites shall also be submitted in the Production environment.

    • Request access is approved by line manager (Cost Approver). There is actually no individual license fee; the term "cost approver" is just a standard term in IdM.

    • Application is accessible approximately 8 h after approved request.

  2. Access renewal each year - IDM notification, with renewal option as self service (Approved by Cost approver).
