Ericsson License Activation and Support High level application process - External User

Step 1. External user request ”User ID” access to Ericsson external environment

  • Go to Identity Onboarding portal

    • Note: if this link does not work, please copy the following link address and paste it into your web browser: https://onboarding.myaccount.ericsson.net/

  • Fill in the form and submit your request​

    • Please secure that Ericsson contact person reference is entered (not mandatory but will simplify handling of the request)

    • In field “Reason for request” please enter: “Need User ID for Ericsson License Activation & Support tool for submitting customer license activation requests.”

  • You will be notified once the request is approved or if any follow up question. Average lead time for request approval is 72h.

Step 2: External user request access to Ericsson License Activation and Support application

  • After received approved User ID request (step 1) enter Extranet Support page for ”Application access or issue”

  • Fill in the form and select the ”Ericsson License Activation and Support” from drop down menue and submitt request.

  • You will be notified once the request is approved. Average lead time for request approval is 72h.

  • Access renewal: All Ericsson application accesses are connected to your User ID and is valid for one year. The User ID and application accesses is renewed every year. Upon renewal your Ericsson contact person is responsible for this activity and to verify that you are still in need of access and will perform the required actions to renew all accesses.

Step 3: Access Ericsson License Activation and Support application with User ID & password

  • After approved access request (step 2) user can access Ericsson License Activation and Support application from My Ericsson or via URL (https://activationrequest.ericsson.net/)

  • Use your User ID (email ID) and password to log in to the Application.

    • Password reset: If you have forgotten your User ID password, please use this link: Reset password Please contact (Extranet support – Ericsson) if you are experiencing any issues. Password reset is completed within 2h
